BEHOLD I WILL GATHER THEM
Ezekiel 32:37:42
“ Behold, I will gather them (Jews) out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, (Israel) and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, (Israel) with all My heart and with all My soul. For thus says the Lord: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.”
God’s eternal plan for Israel is revealed in these prophetic verses written by the prophet Ezekiel between 592 - 570 BC. Israel ceased to exist as a nation in 70 AD, until the Lord resurrected her from the ashes of human history in 1948.
Israel, like the dinosaur was extinct as a nation for 1,878 years. Then, miraculously after 1,878 years, in one day Israel became a nation.
However, Immediately after Israel's Declaration of Independence on 14 May 1948, the armies of six Arab countries - Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Iraq - together with the local Arab militia forces attacked the nascent Jewish state from all directions. Their stated goal - “The complete destruction of the nation of Israel, so that the name of Israel will be remembered no more.”
After three major wars, 1956, 1967, and 1973, the same nations, along with Russia sought the complete destruction of the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.
Fast forward 75 years to 2023, and what do we see happening in Israel and the Middle East today? Israel was attacked October 7th 2023 by two of the radical Islamic surrogates of Iran, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, with the same stated goal and objective as 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973.
Nothing has changed in 75 years.
The important point here is to remember and understand that the plan and purpose of the God of Israel, for His nation, Israel and the Jewish people, has not changed as well. As the God of Israel does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
As the Lord declared in Malachi 3:6, “For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
However, one event that also has taken place in the past month reveals that the UN has literally become an arm of the radical Islamic states, led by Iran, and joined by Russia, China, and Turkey.
This past week, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution calling for Jerusalem’s Old City to be Jew-free. Their objective is the division and destruction of Israel, so that the name of Israel will be remembered no more!

This resolution also called for Israel to remove all Jews from Judea and Samaria, over 400,000 by next December.
Of course there is no mention or recognition of the fact that Hamas and Islamic Jihad attacked and murdered in cold blood on Oct 7th, 2023, over 1,200 Jewish men, women, and children. Many were shot, stabbed, beaten, beheaded, burned alive, raped, and tortured, leaving thousands more bleeding and wounded to die. These monsters also kidnapped 251 Israeli men, women, and children, many of whom have been murdered by Hamas since their captivity.
There of course is also no mention of the more than 19,000 rockets and missiles launched against Israel cities and citizens by Hamas and Islamic Jihad since October 7th.
Commencing on October 8th, another surrogate financed, trained, and equipped by Iran joined Hamas and Islamic Jihad from Lebanon. Since October 8th, Hezbollah has launched over 7,500 rockets, missiles, suicide drones, anti-tank missiles, against Israeli cities and citizens.
In just this past week Hezbollah has upped their attacks launching between 150 to 200 missiles a day against Israeli cities and citizens.
So from God’s perspective the stage is set, the battle lines have been drawn up. There is no middle ground with the God of Israel. You are either with Him or you are against Him.
This is true for all nations, for organizations, churches, synagogues, religions, universities, businesses, and for individuals as well. Each must choose which side they are on.
God has revealed to us that in the fullness of time ALL THE NATIONS will come against Judah and Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:2-3
“Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah.
“It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be torn to pieces. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.”
It is not hard to understand from the Scriptures what the prophesied fate will be for all the nations who seek to remove Jerusalem from its rightful place as the Capital of the nation of Israel. They will be torn to pieces for one reason! They have come against the God of Israel. Against, Judah, and Jerusalem.
Consequently, the opposition against Israel is going to increase greatly, and its going to look like God of Israel has forsaken Israel and the Jewish people. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
Israel is still the apple of God’s eye, and those who seek to remove Jerusalem as the Capital of the nation of Israel, and to remove the Jewish people from their promised inheritance in the land of Israel, will be torn to pieces!
This is God’s word on this issue, and it will come to pass!
