As specters of doubt whirl about in the dust
While they of the world do as they must

Be at peace in the sure Hope of Jesus!
Should you prosper and be the envy of some
Or on the street poor and forgotten do roam
Or happily dwell withal hearth and sweet home
Be at peace in the Faith of Lord Jesus!
If enemies mortal seek your life's end
And if none are willing your life to defend
And the heathen upon you begin to descend
Be at peace in the Love who is God.
To Him none compare
To Him none should dare.
Yet too few are aware
Of Christ Jesus.
